I can’t tell if you’re asking for comments on the fact that you replaced the original drivers with (apparently) whatever you had lying around, or the fact that the speakers no longer sound as good as they once did. So I’ll address both. Basically you can’t expect the speaker to sound the way it did before if you put in drivers that are different from the original. On top of that, you can’t legitimately replace a passive radiator with a speaker. Although both will indeed fill the hole, they are not the same thing.
