Gas is a bit too volatile for that I think. They are afraid if it did ignite it would take the windows out of houses up to a mile away.:eek:

I think the trick now might be to remove the contaminated soil before it gets into the water supply which doesn't look like it's anywhere near the surface. That area needs a sprinkler system bad. :)

Yeah you gotta dig pretty deep to hit the water table around here.

i wonder how often they refresh the sat pics - the sat pic of my house is still of the old demolished one - that was 2-3 years ago
