I cant access this site

I dont know what the problem is, DNS, my service, etc. But i cant access the site. It is really annoying because i like to read your site. I use adelphia cable internet in Blacksburg, Virginia If that helps your search out.

Currently in order to read your site i have to login to the universities proxy server, which is a real annoyance and a waste of school resources.

Please help!

We would be VERY pleased if you would report this problem to Adelphia nd work to get it resolved. Obviously we're still here and our server hasn't gone down, so there is something messed up on your ISP (Adelphia's) side of things. They must be using a very outdated DNS or they have some setting in DNS that is kicking out our server for some reason - perhaps trying to get to the old one.

One thing you can use to prove the site is operational is this: http://www.checkdns.net/quickcheck.aspx

The CheckDNS worked. The site didnt. I e-mailed Adelphia, i guess we shall see if they fix it. Its really weird, ive never not been able to access a site like this before.

I dunno what happened, but I've just now managed to access the site after two months of downtime. Yikes! How'd you guys get by without me for so long!

I don't know what caused it nor why it now works. Guess I'll just have to make up for lost time. Oh, well. At least now everythings new to me.

BTW, love that we can have avatars now!

I think what happened when our hosting company moved the site the IP ended in 255 which some routers leave reserved for other purposes. We got them to change our IP and it appears everything works now. Glad to see you back as your contributions have been missed.
