My local B&M store had a little sale and I picked up 3 Cinema 220 and a pair of Cinema 110 for my bedroom system. I'll run them with my old Denon AVR-686 and the Hsu STF-3. I've also got a 26" Samsung LCD and HD sat. in there and I'll likely move the Cambridge DVD player in there for movies and SACD when my PS3 shows up.

It's funny because I haven't been a big Paradigm fan, but I always liked the Cinema series. I listened to them a couple of times over the past year, but never expected I would ever get them.

I've been on the dark side for a long time. This room has the windows blacked out so I can sleep all day and go to work at night. I rarely see the sun and when I do, it blinds me so I run for cover. I...am a vampire.

Shhhh...Dave sleeps during the day.
I just woke up to find this and it gave me my first laugh of the day.

Please be advised that I am very slow finishing projects. It's actually a good thing that the store had to order the Paradigms for me to pick up next week. I finally got the frames for my corner traps ready and I just have to stuff'em and cover'em. They are 17" x 17" x 24" and 7' tall. I have all my mineral wool cut into 17" x 17" x 24" triangles that will be stacked inside to full height.

I also picked up a new rack on sale. It's single width and 5-1/2' tall with 7 widely spaced shelves. I'm going to move all the equipment to this rack in a corner so I can get the SVS out of the corner. The SVS will take pride of place in the center directly under the TV. This should help tame the room modes somewhat and let me take some of the eq restraint off the sub.

I have a thread in the systems gallery, but I think it turned out a bit confusing because my pictures were before and after shots of painting the room. Here it is in it's basic form, but almost nothing is in the same position except the TV and front speakers. I'll start a new thread in the gallery when the traps and new stand are in place.

That's right; I have seen it before. Very nice house.

Thanks guys. It's also a very small house. The corner traps I built are in the two front corners you see in that photo. I don't think the tall rack will fit in the corner with the traps in place. I'm going with my original plan for that rack (i.e. the plan I had before the plan I presented to my wife). I'm going to use it in the bedroom so the existing rack in that photo will stay.
