The unit is priced at $399, after $100 rebate. The key features of the Humax DRT800 DVD-R with TiVo Service include 80 hours of recording capacity, a broadband connection allowing consumers to connect to your home network to access digital photos and music from their PC, schedule recordings online, and access programming from multiple TiVo boxes. You can also burn DVDs in the background while still recording and watching live TV. There are other features as well. Conspicuously absent, however, is any support for recording HD content - an almost crippling missing feature in our opinion, though we wouldn't expect HD content to be recorded to DVD at this time.

NO Hd

I am at a loss as to why a manufacture would build this without the HD ability. IMHO the ones buying these would most likely be the same ones with HD. Why would I spend money on something that can't record HD when I could rent one from my Cable Provider that does. I would much rather record DVD's on my PC, many more options and abilities for me there.
