To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Apple wanted to charge somehting for HULU to work on their hardware. I sell ReQuest music servers and one of the things they do is store a .wav, FLAC or MP3 ( all four bit rates) copy of the files for regular listening as well as a second MP3 copy for synching with an iPod and for remote streaming. This also comes with an application called NetSynch for iTunes, which was originally supposed to work with Apple computers and it would be free, just like it is for PCs. However, at some point between announcing NetSynch and releasing it, Apple decided that they wanted to charge for this and now, ReQuest has to charge a licensing fee.
