Some help on my HTS cabling.

Good Quality Component leads to go from the DVD (component out) to the LCD (component in),

Then the Coaxial from the DVD(audio out) to the AV (audio in),

Then Good Quality RCA from TV (audio out) to the AV (audio in),

And then HDMI from PS3 to the LCD (HDMI in)

And then Toslink (optical) PS3 (audio out) to AV (audio in).

Does that sound correct?

So this all sound correct in theory but if it does not work it will come down to the programming of the AV, I believe.

sounds good to me. Well thought out layout.

Your last statement is the crux of the matter. Learn to love those manuals.

Yesss!!!

Got most of it all working the other night with only a little bit of trouble, When watching a DVD the screen was wobbling and wavy, i thought it was from either Ground Looping or Interferance from my crappy cheap cables.

So i did 2 things yesterday, Changed where the TV power was plugged into, so it was plugged into the same powerpoint as the Subby's x2 and the AV. This will hopefully get rid of that annoying Ground Loop effect.

2nd thing was buying Expensive RCA and Compeonent cable, After plugging all this in correctley like my above post says i then played with the AV settings and finally got it all working, now just waiting till Thursday at 12am, so i can bring home my PS3. Can't Wait.
