Dear All,

I have a pair of tower speakers that comes with 2 standard speakers 1 is the tweeter and another one is a 6 1/2" woofer. recently i cut another whole and added in some polyfill and another 5 1/4" mid range speakers in which i share the input power from the 6 1/2" woofer. the question is should i change the crossover that comes in the speaker box to a 3 way crossover or should i just leave it as it is.

the 2nd question is that, the back of my amp says it's 60w. but the 5 1/4" speakers is 200w and 4 Ohm. yeah there's practically no sound comming out from it. so thinking to change to a 100w 8 Ohm mid range. is that a good idea? or should i change to a 60w 8 Ohm instead?

will i overload the amp in anyway? and the last Q is that is 1" thick polyfill enough for the tower speakers?

Regards,

A very troubled minded newbie.
