hts 5100 for $321

I've got a few hook ups @ bestbuy. If you could get the hts 5100 for that price...would you? (retails for $699)
sadly, the store that my friends work @ dont carry the PF60, so I dunno how much they would get that for

Isn't that a Monster Power thing? Even at that price it's a ripoff, IMO. Unless you've got a $10k system (or more), I can't see justifying that. You could spend $100 on a Tripp Lite HTPowerbar10 and be just fine.

I bought one of those same units for a similar price at a closing Ultimate Electronics store about three months ago. Honestly, I do not see or hear any difference/improvement in my system. Previously I was using a very cheap no-name power strip with no protection at all built in. At least now I have surge protection and hopefully noise filtering, but I would probably make a different purchase if faced with that decision today. I am not trying to dissuade you nor preach about Monster being the "Evil Empire" just giving you my point of view.
