HTPC HDMI works directly to TV but not through Yamaha 663: thoughts?

New card is in (had my company's computer guy drop ship me one and he sent a Gigabyte 9400).

Video worked immediately through the reciever. Audio took some work but only came in through 2 channel not surround. So, I have hooked audio up through just an optical collection in the mean time and it is working just fine.

I wasn't able to get 5.1 from the video card's hdmi output either, but it's all good since I already have a 5.1 card installed. Glad to see you got it working now.

I just got 5.1 working through the video cards HDMI output, I had to go into the control panel and adjust some settings from the HDMI output on there, and enable dts and some other audio formats and audio resolutions that my receiver is capable of, and change one setting on power dvd and now it works just like it should. Too bad it still can't bitstream losless audio.
