Honest question and I really do want real opinions even if the answer is ‘you won’t get good sound in this space’

Are either of these rooms workable for any type of surround setup?

We’ve just moved and now I have these two living spaces

The first is very large, opens to kitchen. The wall with the floating shelf is about 16’ and about 11’ to wall by fire place. (This is the space w/ the Hisense TV box in the pictures). The placement of the ceilings and location of the distribution plate(behind tv box) suggests whomever put it in, used that wall for tv. The distance from the back of couch to that wall is only about 9 feet. Both walls have patches from previous tv mounts. Ceiling access looks possible through whatever wiring is already there. Otherwise probably no dice. I plan to utilize the bigger wall (floating shelf) for TV. Just seems to work better for the space.

Other is original formal living room. (Bubble wrapped TV against wall). Doesn’t look there is any access to wall behind couch unless you all have some creative ideas that I didn’t think to consider. Last owner at least a on the wall with our bubble wrapped TV since there is an outlet and cutout for cables about 4 feet high. Is there anything I can
