HT System configuration help!

Hi All,

I'm looking for some input on a couple system configuration options. The following things I've pretty much decided on:

-7.1 System in a 17X11 room (walls on 3 sides, 4th wall will make 11 -> 33 ft): These will 3xEnergy RC LCR, 4xEnergy RC10
-3.1 System in a 17x9 room (walls on 3 sides, 4th wall will make the 9 ft -> 33 ft): These will be 3xDefTech StudioMonitor 450.

I have for power:

-Denon 2312CI (105W/ch)
-Yamaha RX-V667 (90W/ch)
-Emotiva UPA-2 (125W/ch)
-Emotiva mini-X A-100 (50 W/ch)

Here's where I'm looking for some input:

Should I use the 2312 in the 7.1 System with the 667 in the 3.1 System and keep the spare amps for other uses. Or, would it make an appreciable difference to use the 667 + UPA-2 (fronts) + mini-X (rears)? Both systems are going to be 80% HT usage and 20% Music. If the Denon had pre-outs, my solution would be straight-forward: Denon + UPA-2 for the 7.1. But, unfortunately, it doesn't and hence the post.
My guess is that there isn't going to be much of a difference either way and I should save the Emo amps for other applications around the house. But, I'd appreciate input from the community.

Sorry for the long post and thanks for your input.

Wow - no responses! I guess my post was too long and boring. How about I try it this way; For the demands of 7.x HT amplification, which of the following would be a better choice to get more SPL cleanly:

-Denon 2312 (105W/ch, 600W total)
-Yamaha RX-V667(90 W/ch, 400W total) + Emotiva UPA-2 (125W/Ch) for FR and FL

The speakers are 3xEnergy RC LCR, 4xEnergy RC10

From what I remember of the SNR, THD etc, I don't think there's much difference either way.

Thanks for your responses.
