Bought another house in April and am finally getting around to just about finishing the HT room. It was built from scratch by myself (complete amateur), and the help of a good friend (another complete amateur). It turned out OK for a first time experience. Sorry for the crappy pics.

Equipment consists of:
Pioneer 84VSXti receiver
Toshiba HDA1 HDDVD player
Xbox 360
Denon CD player
Monster HTS5100 power conditioner
Dish 943 hi def receiver
Behringer DSP1124p eq
SVS PB12/2+ sub
Axiom M60's, VP150, QS8's, QS4's.
Insteon network lighting control

Before pic. Room is 10'7"x22x9. Not the best dimensions but it will have to do.

Front stage filled w/ sand to dampen vibration. Decoupled from all walls.

Front stage almost complete. Framed and ready for speaker grille cloth.

Rear riser, filled w/ insulation and decoupled from all walls.

Nice work. You ought to be proud of it bass addict (especially as an amateur). Care to post your Insteon schematic?

I really don't know what you're looking for but this is what I have connected.

The rope lights at the front and rear are set on channel 1 on a fade on/off rate of about 5 seconds. The light over the screen is on channel 2 with an on/off/fade. The florescent hall light is setup on channel 3 for on/off only. The florescent bar light is on channel 4 with on/off. The light at the end of the hall is on channel 5 with on/off/fade (for people using the bathroom during a movie). You of course have an all on all off switch which it tied to the light switch at the beginning of the hall going to the theater. When you enter this hall and press the on button all lights turn on, and the same upon leaving. Not a very good explanation but I hope it works. I am still playing around with different combinations but this seems to work.
