HT Receivers in Stereo Mode

I looking for your opinions/comparison on a couple of HT receivers and how they run in Stereo mode. &nbsp;The brands in question are Onkyo and Marantz. &nbsp;How do these 2 compare with each other when running in stereo in terms of sound, clarity etc. &nbsp;Also, I've heard that Onkyo's power ratings are overrated. &nbsp;Is there any truth to this?
The 2 models are the Onkyo SR-TX700 and the Marantz SR7300.
