See attached for layout. Looking for recommendations on speaker placement and what I can get for a budget of about $1000. Currently have a Marantz NR1603 and Energy RC Micro set. Was leaning towards getting the Klipsch RP-440D for the LCR and using the Energy speakers for side and back. TV placement am leaning towards being on either left or right wall. Option 2 would be to try and sell my Marantz and get something like the Onkyo NR676, Klipsch RP-440D, and 2 ceilings and give Atmos a try. Could switch to the older G-42 version to save a little too.

No one????

Had one more option I think. Debating to put the TV in the bottom right corner. Then perhaps d 4 ceilings. 2 for Atmos, and 2 for rear/surround. Or is that not a good idea to use ceiling for surround?

It is like a sound bar but has individual LCR channels. I would like to, but the in house ruler hates big bulky speakers. This is about as good as I can get. At this point still looking at options. we have about a month before construction starts. For now just wondering what thoughts are for using ceiling speakers for both rear/surround as well as Atmos for a 5.1.2

Also leaning towards one of these 3:

Pioneer VSX-LX302
Denon AVR-X3400H
Onkyo TX-NR676
