Just wondering what would be a better set up to go with:

1 HSU VTF or 2 Outlaw LFM-1's

Are 2 subs actually better in this case?

Thanks....

Which VTF and what's your budget?

Because if you can afford the VTF-3 HO with turbocharger, I don't think you'd need much more.

That particular Outlaw only goes down to 25hz.

How big is your room?

The Plus actually goes down to 18 Hertz in Max extension mode.

For the time I had the LFM-1, I loved it! it could shake the room like no other sub ive owned before, the only reason I returned it was because I wanted bigger

You cannot go wrong with the Outlaw, two of them would be a pain to setup, but would give you a ton of bass when calibrated properly. I personally think you would be fine with one LFM-1 Plus.

Have you ever owned a higher end sub before?

The two Outlaws will help even out the bass response in the room and is a great deal for $900.

Well Im not ready to buy just yet-

My budget is $1000, it will be used for a 50/50 music/ht set up. It will be paired with Era D5 monitors(90% sure on the d5's) and possibly the vsx-92thx reciever.

Im just planning the system out right now, im still overseas and do to return in a few short weeks.

The house I'm planning to buy is an open floorplan with the living room, dining room and kitchen all in one open area. Sorry not quite sure the measurements.

Just looking for the most well rounded way to go on this...
