Does anyone have these? Are they any good?
I was looking at the HSU Ventriloquist since it was recommended as a good match for my Yamaha receiver and i saw these on the HSU site. I personally like Bookshelf type speakers a bit better and the Ventriloquist look like they're more the satellite kind.
I tried a search on the forum but came out almost empty handed? Is this because they're bad and no one buys them or maybe they just came out?
I've been hearing some decent reputation for HSU on the forum but no word of these.....
I was considering Polk Audio bookshelf's but these look a tad better...

HSU bookshelf speakers

The HSU speakers just came out, so you probably wont find many reviews yet. I would listen to a couple of Klipsch speakers at a local big box store or B&M dealer to make sure you like the "horn" sound before purchasing these.

Other good budget options include the Onix X-LS speakers and the Athena Audition and Bic Venturi bookshelf speakers.

Thanks for the tip, I guess i gotta do a bit more research and try lightening to the Klipschs. I'm pretty much a newb to this and wasn't aware that horn speakers sounded different. I just did notice that both Klipsh and these speakers both were rated at higher Db than say Polk Audio speakers which were the first ones i was looking into....guess I figured more DB equaled louder ... but since I have a Yammaha i was told Klipshes may not be a good match and might make the yamaha sound too "bright". I'm definitely going to have a listen to the klipsch and again the polks to hear the difference.
thanx!

I am just guessing but I think those are going to be just about the same as the Acoustech bookshelf speakers by BIC America (http://www.acoustechspeakers.com/). It looks like they helped Hsu design their new bookshelf and Hsu helped them make a decent sub.

I just thought I would through those out as an option if you like the horn tweater sound. I don't know if you like the look of these Acoustech speakers, personally I like how plane the Hsu speakers are but to you not.
