As some of you guys know, my cleaning lady trashed my Panasonic receiver, when she cleaned the shelf where the Panny was resting, she pulled the shelf forward, as the shelf moved forward the back pins couldn't support it any longer, so of course the shelf came down rear end first, what kept the receiver from crashing was the hdmi cable, the Panny's hdmi tab was bent, now the hdmi cable has a 30 degree bend at the male plug and the plastic cover has seperated away from the metal male plug. Today I took cable tried it in my master bedroom system and it works perfectly well, picture and sound. I guess these cables are pretty robust, I though that it couldn't sustain that kind of damage and still function.
Please, don't try this at home!
