How to turn on decibel meter for the volume control?

Hi, I bought the Pioneer 5.1-Channel A/V Receiver VSX-819H-K, and one thing I dislike is that when I'm changing the volume, it's on a scale from 1 to 100. I'd much rather have the -dB counter. Any idea how I can turn that on? I didn't find anything in the manual...

You can only use the relative volume display if the receiver actually supports it. I'm not familiar with the settings on that model, but if it is not mentioned in the manual then it likely does not offer relative volume display.

Does it really matter. :D

I actually prefer the db counter myself.

And it does not have anything to do with sound quality.

* I like to listen to music, not look at it from the receiver front display. :)
