Not sure what to do with it , I cannot carry ornaments upstairs or to basement it’s too heavy . And awkward ?
My mom will probably be mad I even got it free .
Should I put it back in my car or leave it laying downstairs or set it up besides my hdtv?
I could try and carry it downstairs but it’s risky ! And by myself so hard.
Wanted to use it for old video games and movies but wow .... my back hurts so bad
I’ll just have to leave it in this room , see if it’ fits beside my sony 40”

They're heavy and awkward....and help in moving or a furniture dolly might be a good idea. When I got rid of a rear projection crt set, needed 3 guys with straps to move it out of the house...flat panels are so much easier :)

What should I tell my mom I’m selling it for a little bit or something? Or test it out for old movies and games .
Could try and get ps2 back from my grandma she never uses it .

LOL I haven't had to explain anything to my mom for more than 40 years, so you're on your own...

Probably a 2 person job with shoulder dolly strap lifts. That’s how we moved a 36 in CRT. Anything else might be asking for a hernia. :)

Edit: We had the screen oriented face down flat so it balanced right.

So just wait for a friend to move it Or something ? It’s too fat and awkward to use our dolly , the dolly ramp so so thin .
Wish there were handles on this tv so could carry it easier . Is 128 pounds enough for a hernia? My knees were super red from moving it from car into house .
I already have back issues , and knee problems should had avoided getting this tv didn’t think 32 was this hard to move .

I guess I’d wait for a friend if you’re not comfortable or confident enough. Fwiw I used to move my fil’s 36” CRT by myself. It was heavy but not unmanageable.

Seriously, I have no life.
A dilemma for sure. Not all free stuff is worthwhile as is in this case.
Yes, you need to just get rid of it somehow to a recycling center or call your trash company and they may pick it up from the curb.
You still need to get it out of the house, car or curb.

Why do you have to explain to mother?

Not sure why the old low res video would look any different on that TV than the 4K or 2K. It will look bad on both tvs.

What should I tell my mom
That's a tough one. We might need one of our more seasoned members to weigh in. Someone with a bunch of kids.

Are there any moms who post here that can help ol' Noob with this unique A/V problem? A note maybe..?

Lmao! I’m not a mom, but my kid hauls home an old CRT(no. There not that hard to move around), and I’m smashing that thing in my driveway.
