How to hook up a OPPO BDP-105d?

I plan on getting a OPPO-BDP-105D, after doing some reading and research, I'm not sure how to hook it up. I've heard analog cables, some have said HDMI, some said XLR's. Some have benefits better for audio vs video. Anyone have any thoughts or recommendations? How did you guys hook it up? I need to know what cables to buy. Thanks!!!

An Oppo BDP-105 owner here (1 year?). Recommend HDMI direct to TV & analog out's (7.1 section) to multi-channel inputs of your AVR.
