I've had my LG LCD three weeks now; every couple of days it throws a new twist at me and I'm starting to miss my 10 year old JVC box tv that I gave to my nanny.
Yesterday my new TV started showing closed captioning. While I am hard of hearing at 30 something, I'm not needing this function quite yet. I have read other threads where owners can't get closed captioning, I can't get rid of it. I have an HDMI cable, and use Time Warner on a DVR HD box. Please advise on getting the 'greyed out' Caption option to allow me to enter and speak to the Wizard that will allow me to deactivate the captioning on my menu.
Outside of watching a football game on HD ESPN, I miss my old TV!!!!
