this seems like a stupid question but like many receivers i only have 1 sub out put so how do i add multiply sub-woofers without compromising the signal flow to much or any lol

A Y adapter is all you need to split the single sub pre-out into two.

Alternatively, if one of your subs has a line level output, you can connect the sub pre-out of the receiver to the line level input on that sub and connect the line level output of that sub to the input of the next one.

yeh i dont... it isnt that expensive of a sub i bought it along time ago and i have another so i was thinking of adding it to the system for kicks and giggles... i thought of using a Y connector but thought it would divide the single into different areas or weaken it

A Y adapter is passive so there will be a small loss but nothing you'd ever notice. At the worst you'd have to turn the gain on the sub up 1/8" of a turn.

Lots of people use the splitter approach and if nothing else it is a super cheap way to experiment with two subs.
