MACCA350 Audioholic Chief Jul 9, 2005 #2 There are a few plans here http://www.decware.com/newsite/mainmenu.htm They do charge (USD19.95 gets you all their online plans). When I get the time, I'd love to build the 'House Wrecker' and see what it can do in a small room cheers

cbecker33 Audioholic Jul 9, 2005 #4 Bar none, the best site for DIY audio . That's a direct link to the subs. I built a HT sub myself. 14" x 14" by 14" using a Stryke Audio Av12 and a 500w digital plate amp . It's pretty damn nice.....more than enough boom (if not I also have a 15 stryke audio he with 2 18" PR's and a mackie 2600 amp). It was easy and fun to build. Chris

D dreadstar Audioholic Intern Jul 25, 2005 #5 Parts Express www.partsexpress(dot)com Has alot of speaker kits and subwoofer kits that you can put together that are almost completely done for you. And some of them actually sound rather nice for the price. I built a small sub using the 10" reference driver they sell and a 200 watt surplus jbl plate amp. works nice for the cost.
