Holy. Mother. Of. God.

I would have to guess somewhere in the neighborhood of $100k, if not more.

I feel like this is the Antiques Road Show for Audio.

"Yes ma’am, that's a $400,000 amp."

"Really? And I was just using it as a door stop!"

I'm a little lost. Why are you asking. Who's system is this, and where is the link? I'm having trouble deciphering your english. You said "got it from Mcintosh singapore dealer, one of their turn-key installation, think been sometime, all were the cutting-edge stuff back to the time of installation." What does that mean?

With the look of the house I say the HT was the cheapest thing in there.

I've done some big installs, but not that big. My guess would be 700 to 800K for the whole thing. Its hard to pin down because we don't know how much Vantage or Crestron is installed or what the capabilities are. Programming an Automation system can run into big dollars especially if you are integrating two systems together with all the audio and video.

There is definitely a huge price tag with that setup, but it is so in-your-face throughout the home that it really blows me away. A full cabinet of equipment with lots of bright blue lights in it would never be something that I would recommend to be put INTO a theater, but rather taken OUT of the theater.

I have met client's in love with McIntosh gear, who have outfitted their entire homes with it at the costs of $100K+ and then have not been as happy as the guy who has used the $1,000 Yamaha receiver. McIntosh everywhere is a whole lotta cash, but just doesn't make sense as there are different environments which require different quality levels and so much more is available to be given to the client within the budget.

The outdoor projector is either a joke, or a night time only viewing piece. Nice projector though.

The largest non-commercial project I have been a part of was about $800,000 and had about 32 rooms of audio and video with over 120 Vantage controlled lighting loads with about 2 dozen touchpanels and a 3 plasma sports viewing area with some incredible in-walls from Sonance. This project looks like it may have cost more, but it also doesn't appear nearly as robust for the cash. Just a lot of money available, and the company made sure to spend every dime.

Where's the Meridian setup at that price point? No B&W? Hmmmm.... a little to brand centric for me. Mix it up some and stop putting every display device and A/V piece of gear right out in the open. Is it an A/V store or a home?

2 different people require 2 different setups.

Budget? There is not budget when people want the best of the best.

It is all up to the person buying the gear to decide what equipment is going to be used. If you are using Mcintosh amps (MC1201) why not use there other electronics to match it up. Mcintosh also makes equipment for a munti room setup.
