How much is a used AVR-X3600H worth?

Yup, pretty much that. "Upgraded"* to an ATI 525NC + Integra 60.1. It's in really good shape! Only played by a little old lady who liked The Kingston Trio at low volume! OK maybe not that last but still have the box and remote and Audyssey mic.

BUT how much is it worth? Yeah, an auction on eBay would be one way to get data but I read such complaints about lack of seller protection on eBay that doesn't appeal. Amazon...maybe. Thinking more OfferUp/Facebook Marketplace/Craigslist. (Did I miss any other local pickup options? I guess I can do local pickup on eBay but I don't think that protects against lying buyers (?!?).

*Does it sound better, you ask? Well it sounds very good but you can't set Audyssey the same so it naturally sounds slightlyt different.

Couple random questions...
Where are you at?
Was it really just a little old lady listening to the Kingston Trio at safe volume? :p

Given the state of things right now, the only downside would be no warranty. You may well be able to get $800-900 if you play your cards right...
If you just want to move it and recoup some money, ask 750 and be prepared to haggle a wee bit.

Of course, I'm just guessing and speculatiing, so, don't take me at my word.

Oh, and if you are in NorCal, I'll come and take it off your hands as is for 600! :D

I would sell it on eBay, for the best price.

I note a lot of second hand receivers are selling for more then the new price. Inventory is low, and people seem desperate for product.

I would start the bidding at $900, and would not be surprised if it sold for between $1200 and $1500.

Oh… something like 13 years ago when I was more broke than not and had just gotten a pS3 and our first flat panel Sammie, we also got an onkyo HTIB.
But don’t judge me on that… ;)
Consider how much I grew up in 2018!!! :D

I didn't realize the unit you were talking about was that old!

Yeah. It actually lasted through most of 2019 or into early 2020 (don't recall exactly when)... I was hoping to pick up the 3600 on sale when the x700 series came out...
Sadly, I missed the 1 week when it was available at a discount.

I think what did it in was a combination of age, and the Lady leaving it on and closing the cabinet doors. I found it baking a day or two later, turned it off, chastised her lightly...

She went to turn it on sometime therafter and said "it's not working!"

I wouldn't be surprised if you could get $900 - $1000 in good condition. $6 - 700 if in a hurry. Depends on how fast you need the money.

Just curious, never heard of Integra 60.1, is it an AV preamp/processor, or AVR?
If the AVR-X3600H is in top shape, TLSGuy's suggestion of asking price range is probably right on but only because of the current shortage of anything that good. So you should have no trouble selling it now, until the supply chain related shortage goes away, then $600 to $700 would seem more reasonable.
