I am puting a home theater system in my family room and I don't know how powerful I need it. The room is 14x22 ft and has about a 16 ft ceiling.

I was thinking about the Harman Kardon AVR 435. Is that system powerful enough for the room?

Thank You,

Robert

hello,
rob most stores give you a 30 return policy take one home and try it out. If you think it is loud enough keep it. If you buy speakers that have a higher sensitivity 90 or higher it should be fine in your room.

good luck,

That really depends on the sensitivity of your speakers and how loud you like your music/movies.
