How Far is Far Enough

I am running coax through the walls to connect 2 receivers. I am trying to stay as far away from lines running power as I can. What is the minimum acceptable distance from electrical wires. I know if I have to that intersecting is better than parallel

I believe 1 foot is adequate when using high-quality shielded cable.

If you are using RG-6 quad shield, anything more than a few inches should be sufficient. Cross at right angles, do not run through the same holes.

I run on opposite sides of joists when they are in the same space and have seen no issues.
