how does this sound

i am putting together a high-end stereo system here are the components i have chosen

- Onkyo DX-7555 CD player
- Onkyo A-7555 Amplifier

my cd player will directly plug into amplifier via analog controls.

i like this set up becuase the cd player has a high DAC and the with the amplifier i can do what i wanted, put it into Pure Direct mode, and have the least interference. i want eh system to be as simple as it could get, but yet with high quality components.

my next step is to choose the speakers.

OK, I was mistaken about the DAC's, my apologies. There is not much info about either of these products. If you wish to be a guiney pig and jump in the water first, I still think you could do better for less.
