How do I improve my sytem?

I am so confused

I have an
integra dtr 6.4 receiver
definitive bp 7002 towers
definitive clr 2500 centre
definitive satelite rears (cheap but I dont car much about rears yet)
definitve subwoofer, not sure of model was about $500

I love loud music, loud heavy metal music, mostly i use my system for cd's and concert dvd's, i want to feel like im there, i want to crank my system so loud that my ears ring afterwards, like when u go to a concert, I want the ultimate bragging rights among my friends and brother in law.

My audio dealer keeps telling me to go seperates and start with an amp, but which one will give me what i need, i want something that i can instantly hear a difference when i hook it up.

Is what i'm looking for possible on a moderate budget, or am i just throwing away my money?

please help me, im an audio junkie who loves his tunes!

a 5 channel amp that can give you 300 watts a channel (your fronts are rated for 400 watts) is gonna cost you well over $1000, so i'm not sure what moderate is for you.

i'm a newbie here, but what i'd do is probably fill out the rest of those speakers (centre, surround, etc.) with what you've got as towers for a good overall complete sound, to make it even out.

Add one of these between the Integra receiver and amp, and send the rest of the money to me as a consulting fee.

You don't need to spend gobs of cash on esoteric equipment. The pros don't, and they're the ones producing the music.
