How Do I Do This? Should I Do It?

I have powered sub woofers in my Def Tech 2006 TLs, which I'm using as fronts in my 5.1 system. I'm considering connecting to the LFE input on each speaker. Is there a cable I can run from the pre out for the subwoofer from my receiver to accomplish this?

Secondly, will there be a noticeable difference in the performance of the subwoofers by doing this given that the speakers are so integrated?

All you need ia Y-adapter and cables to run to each sub. Doing so will provide more control over the LFE signal from the receiver.
