If you were a Jew, how would you deal with people who hold an ideology/religion that sees outsiders as Haram (forbidden) and wants to exterminate you and your people? Israel is fighting for survival, Muslims fight for revenge.

It sounds like 2500 troops on the island and maybe another three weeks. Any mass deployment isn't realistic with that terrain. There are allies helping the Straight because with the cost of oil rising I don't think they have a choice. Though when Trump says the war is over it sounds like more BS. Ex-counter terrorism guy Larry Johnson said Netanyahu got what he wanted from the war, which was destroying Iran's nuclear capability. Also it doesn't seem they considered Hormuz as a target.
