Welcome to the forum!

We should be able to get you all set up, but I don't know what a cody 937 is, and a Google search didn't help me. Please give more information about that unit (such as manufacturer and full model number). Also, let us know which TV (manufacturer and model number) you own.

Thanks.

Well, I can help with the identification of the "coby 937":

I suspect it's this HTIB system.

If you sound system is the one that Zhimbo linked to, you have a small problem. The only audio output on your TV is S/PDIF and there is no S/PDIF input on that Coby.

However, you could use the headphone output from the TV to the stereo inputs on the Coby, all you would need is one of these cables.

that's a great idea thanks
however in my cody setup option it gives me the section between
-S/PDIF pcm & S/PDIF raw
but like you said there is no S/PDIF hook up on my unit, just aux 1,2 ,codax input and video input with the green, blue, red

It's weird the maunel says,I can hook it up to my t.v but has lack of infomation on how about I go around to do so.

I've been doing research on this issue and have notice that a lot of people of the same problem with there dvd threater system, Everything works but there t.v audio.
it's amazing out of all the fourms i've checked out your the only one that has some type of soution.

You're welcome. :)

Just remember that you will, in effect, have two volume controls.

S/PDIF PCM and S/PDIF RAW are selections for using the DVD player with speakers other than the included ones.

It appears the people at Coby were banking on the unit being used with a TV that has stereo RCA outputs.

That's why we get paid the big bucks. :p

Way to go, no. 5! The headphone jack to the rescue again. :D Those TV/DVD/VCR combos seem to often require that solution.
