Killing some time I rented this on AppleTV.

I knew it was going to be stupid, and maybe my extremely low expectations were the biggest help...but I actually thought this was funny. The whole thing is one big joke, they don't attempt to make some sort of drama in it like most comedies, and it ends up having a lot of parts that made me laugh out loud.

This is all you need to know:

The wife and I liked it. We definitely thought it was funnier than The Hangover. I don't get why everyone thinks that movie is so funny. I don't think I laughed until the very end when they were showing the pictures from the night they couldn't remember.

Did you recognize Johnny from the Cobra Kai? :D

I've watched it a few times now, and it reminds me a lot of how my friends and I are as far as giving each other a hard time. Pretty funny movie. There are definitely some parts that really make me laugh. Good comedy over all.

Personally, I have not seen it. However, it does look to be quite funny. Hope to see it soon.

I passed on this until I read your review. I'm going to say that this borders on classic. It's like a retro stupid comedy. They picked a like the best parts of the 80's to goof on. This thing is like a stupid summer comedy for 40 year olds.

I thought it had potential, but it sort of fizzled IMO. It did have some funny, laugh out loud moments though :) Worth a rent.

Didn't really think it was all that funny, and I didn't really think the hangover was that funny either.

I have to agree with you...it just wasn't that funny and I'm a John Cusack fan. Otoh....the Hangover...made me lmao because someone somewhere could in part relate to that storyline...:D. Another film I was disappointed with was Date Night....It was funny to some extent, but it wasn't there for me...maybe I excepted more from Carell & Fay?
