Hookup question

Hi I curretntly Stream music from my computer to my Denon thru HDMI. Would there be any benefit to use an USB Dac instead? I'm thinking probably not but wanted to ask.

Bad choice of words. Like I said I'm not a believer that a Different Dac will make a sound diff. Just thinking that HDMI is keeping the system from playing full hi res files. Can only do up to 24/48 now.
