ok here is the deal, im trying to get rid of my vcr which is hook up to my cable box which is a standard cable box because i dont want to spend 16 bucks for a dvr. that is when the dvd recorder comes in. I cant get why i need to change source to av for my recorder but when i want to play the vcr i dont get a signal because the vcr is hooked up to my cable. do i need to get a switch or something else inorder to be on the cable instead of av. Thanks.
