So I've got a question. I just bought a Onkyo HT-SR800. The reciever is a pass through HDMI which many people are familiar with. I will be using my PS3's blu ray player with this system. My question is the connections for the entire system. Since the reciever is pass through so, shouldn't I just hook the PS3's HDMI directly to the TV(I don't think it matters but it is a Sony SXRD KDS-50A2000). Then take the TV's optical out and plug that into the reciever. Wont that transmitt all off the audio that the TV is recieving from the PS3 or not. Also the PS3 has a crap load of audio output settings that Im not totally familiar with. Does anybody have any idea what that should be set to,(its set to linear PCM right now) Anyway let me know what you think people.
