hooking up in home subs?

ok so i am toatally new to in home theaters and ive been lookin to get some subs because im a toatal bass junkie. i have been thinking about getting these subs cerwinvega xls 215 subs but i have a couple questions. 1 are these subs actually good? the vids i see of them the seem to pound pretty dang hard and yea if not any1 got some sugestions of what els i should look into? and my 2nd and biggest question. what do i need to hook these up because everywere i look its a bunch of kids getto riging there car sub's and amp's with computer power supplies so plz any1 help and give me some insight into this stuff lol. also if they are a good system im not stuck on them i am willing to go down to a different size like there xls 12 or other type stuff

I don't understand how a video will tell you if a sub is any good?

What is the budget?

CV isn't really the place I would look for a real sub. Can't really make recommendations without a budget either, but you can check the standards like SVS and HSU to see if anything fits the bill.
