hooking up game console to projector??

When hooking up say an xbox 360, can you run it just into hdmi input on the reciever? Or does there have to be two separate hdmi cables going to projector one from the reciever and second Hdmi from xbox?

There are two options here. The simplist is run an HDMI cable from the xbox to the receivers input and then another from the receivers output to the projectors input. This way runs both audio and video via the hdmi.

The other is run an hdmi cable from the xbox to the projector and an optical cable from the xbox to the receiver. This way runs audio via the optical and video via the hdmi. I recommend the first option.

Yes, you can.

Doesn't need to be that way, but it can be done. (if your projector has 2 HDMI inputs)

Great thanks. Thats a relief cause I only installed one 35 ft piece of fiber optic hdmi from reciever to projector on my new build in ceiling.
