Hooking up Blu Ray Player to Marantz SR4600

Hey Looking for the best way to hook up my Samsung 3600 Blu-ray to my Marantz SR4600 since it does not have an HDMI connection? Any thought of how to maximize sound and video quality? Thanks for all help

HDMI to display and optical to AVR is your best option.

You won't be able to use the newer codecs since you don't have HDMI AVR.

Does your receiver have 6 channel analog inputs. If so you could go this route if the receiver could decode the fomrats.
