Hi Folks,
This is my first post on this forum, though I have been checking out the forum for a while now. This is a darn good place to check out stuff.
I am buying a small townhouse which has about 1300 sq.ft. of living space, and my living room is about 350 sq.ft. I do realize that I have a limited space to setup my audio and video. (I have wooden floors for acoustic resilence
)
For a hometheater/audio I have been thinking of two options. First - getting a Denon AV-1906 receiver with some floor standing speakers or bose acousticmass (any other recommendations?) and a Denon DVD/CD player. The second is getting the simplest setup - Bose Lifestyle 38. I have heard good stuff about Poineer too - no I don't have much idea about that. Regarding the TV, I am planning to get a 42" Plasma - Pioneer or Dell (both are avilable in Costco).
I want a rather simple setup that does not require too much of cabling/wiring and also which would allow me to play music via my laptop using the wireless - but good music quality.
I guess I am looking to spend about $6,000 max, so please let me know if there are any better setups out there.
Thanking you all in anticipation.
