I love that story! Far too often, corporations dismiss individuals as not worth their time and effort to make things right. I hope the couple were awarded punative damages as well and that the bank was charged with contempt, for ignoring the judges award.

I guess some lawyers are useful after all.

Big banks suck. This is one of the best stories I've read in a long time.

Serves the bank right for being so greedy and incompetent. I wouldn't have taken much research on their part to have figured out that they never gave out a loan for that home. Then they tried to stiff the owners again by not paying what they owed. We need more stories like this.

More info on this story. Looks like this foreclosure racket bears further scrutiny. I wonder if there are other people out there who have had their homes fraudulently taken from them...
