home theater questions

I have some general questions for anyone who has answers.

I am looking for a new 7.1 channel surround sound setup for my house and have questions on witch brand may be better. I have been looking through reviews for the last 2 months on speakers and different setups. So far I am looking into the mirage OMD series, aperion audio 533t cinema hd, kef Q series, and axiom audio epic 80. I have only heard the kef Q series and thought they performed well but I have also not heardmany other systems of this sort. I have a yamaha RX-V4600 for my receiver. Does anybody have any tips on the speakers I have listed. Thanks

i have no idea about them all but i do know that i am planning to buy an epic 80 system , also you should look into onix speakers

I was considering the EPIC 80 system. I just purchased the Onix Rocket system. Just received them. I hadn't heard any of the systems, I went off the recommendation of the board. I also considered sale prices.
