It dawned on me the other day that I have not heard hide or hair about the state of Home Theater Magazine.

Anybody have any insight?

I have a"subscription" which is probably a lost cause at this point.

Which did you mean, Home Theater Builder Magazine or Home Theater Magazine? Home Theater Magazine is doing fine from what I've heard and see; I'm a happy subscriber. HT Builder Magazine though, you got me. Didn't know there was one till I just googled it!

Home Theater Builder Magazine...I get Home Theater as well and no problems there.

I receive Home Theater Magazine as well. It is a decent Magazine. (Not as good as Audioholics though, by quite a bit, I just like print a fair amount.) The video reviews are usually pretty thorough. They have good tests there. The audio reviews are decent but still have the occasional flaws. The January issue gushes about the SVS SB-01 system with the PB-10 woofer. It got a performance rating of 97 I believe! They wish they would have had a better receiver to review it with as it was the "Spotlight System".

Last month the Pioneer Elite FD-110?? was rated the best flat panel ever tested. Black levels at .001 ire




I have not heard of Home Theater Builder Magazine, sorry.

I'm not sure but I think Home Theater Builder Magazine is "on hiatus" - their website hasn't been updated in ages, some nav bar links lead nowhere and it seems stale.
