Hey,

I'm looking to turn an above average size room into a home theater its roughly 12 x 15 ft. haven't decided on the tv yet but i'm thinking 52/55 inch with a 120" pull down screen infront, my first concern and first equipment i am looking to buy is the audio.

What i'm looking at:

1)Onkyo TX-SR608( i know it isn't released yet but hopefully it will be by next month).

2)And a speaker package from SVS:

Sub: PB12-NSD
Front and rear: SBS-01
Center: SCS-01

I am more concerned about quality over warranty reason being this would be purchased in usa but will be shipped half way around the world.

Before getting into specifics a couple of observations/questions:
1) Whats your budget?

2) Make sure the stuff you are ordering in US would be compatible to electrical voltages "around the world" or otherwise,even if plug fits, you'll hear loud pop, smoke will come out and say warranty goodbye !

i am well aware of the electrical requirements.

in terms of budget i am looking at or around 1500 excluding receiver.

edit: looking to spend say 2000 with receiver

still can't decide which receiver to get though
