One concern is 2 ohm speakers with a home amp. You need a very high quality amp that will be happy at 2 ohms. I'm not aware of any receivers, not that i'm an expert, that would handle speakers at 2 ohms without tripping the protection system. I don't understand why you would want to use car speakers in your home. There are numerous home speakers available for any budget. Those car audio speakers are in a cabinet aren't they? Otherwise you will have other problems to deal with.

Yes they’re in a box and the reason I’m doing that is because ther are installed in my garage ceiling and looks great plus they’re excellent sounding speakers, I also have Klipsch Hersey speakers in the garage and two sets of Yamaha speakers, lol ( large garage) I think they’re so good sounding that I also have a pair in my theater room with a set of Klipsch Forte III and 7 Paragim Surround sound speakers

I also have 2 pair of Martin Logan ML75
W Outdoor speakers for my pool and in my bedroom I have a set of Klipsch RP 600m and Bose 301’s so I’m definitely not skimping on speakers, thanks for your response
