This is my first post, been a lurker here and projectorcentral for about 2-3 weeks gathering info. Lots of useful info on both sites. Let me tell you about my situation.

I have a approx. space of 12'4"x15 space for my HT. The 12'4" side being wear my HT is going to be set up. 8' ceilings btw. This is my current setup (some equipment is being ordered as we speak, some is still under debate/consideration).

Receiver: Denon 4806
DVD: Denon 3910
TV: Pioneer Pro HD-3910
Projector: Benq PE8720, Infocus IN76, Optoma H78DC3 (undecided, my choices so far)
Screen: Da-Lite Tensioned Cosmopolitan Electrol 45x80 with HCCV
Power Conditioner: Panamax 5100
Speakers: Originally Deftech setup with 7002, CLR2300, BP2X surrounds, but now decided to go with Jamo D7 PEX....7.1 set up. Still undecided though

Speaker set up (wires) and TV proprietary cords all ran and set up behind couch, so all the wires and HDMI wires will be centralized. Wall mounts all here, still mudding and texturing dry wall.

My question is on the speakers and the projector as well. I will be posting this projector central as well to get some feedback. Has anyone has any experiences with these speakers (either one) and will it suite my purpose? I watch movies 90% of the time, with the music probably coming from the I-pod cleaning house and such, otherwise just for movies, video games, or WoW (World of Warcraft).

Thanks for letting me ramble on....but I tried to get as much info as much out so people can chime in with informatives responses. Thanks in advance!!

New HT

Looks like your lurking has lead to a great list for the new HT.

For speakers, you will get plenty of feedback in your post your budget for speakers and sub. For HT I would recommend floorstander mains and at least one good 12" sub. Depending on your budget you should consider Axiom Audio, Paradigm, PSB, Klipsch, Onix Rocket, etc.

I also have been lurking projector forums and would add the Optima HD72 to your list as a budget option.

Many fine speaker/sub combos can be put together. I like the Def Techs, but in your smaller space and since its used primarily for HT, I'd prefer 3 CLR 2000s or even 2002s across the front and an SVS PB12-ISD sub should pressurize the space nicely.
