Audyssey isn't a qreat solution for many things.
Run it for levels and distances, then turn it off seems to be the best advice as far as Aud. goes. I used it for a little bit after running it, didn't have any real complaints, but it didn't do anything great, either. In all, it sounds best off, with my speakers set to proper size and xo, and a gentle mimicing of the Audyssey apps mid range correction at 2khz (but instead of a -3dB crater, a made a very slight -1.5dB swale in the Grachical EQ that took away a bit of liveliness from my room. (Just something fun to experiment with if interested.)
