Hey there,

I've had this sub for a bit and the potentiometer needs to be replaced but I'm not really certain what I'm looking for ohm wise and was wondering if someone could look at this manual and help me figure out what I need.
Many thanks!

According to the circuit and parts list you are looking for 50K Ohm variable resistor. Unfortunately, whether it is log or linear taper is not specified. This will probably be written on the control. This is wired as a variable resistor and NOT as a potentiometer, as it is inserted in the feedback loop of an IC. So only two of the contacts will be used, just the middle contact and an outer one. Make sure you use the correct outer one, or the control will work backwards.

The taper should be written on the control as well as the value. You can confirm the value with your ohm meter once you get it out of circuit. If you are not sure if it is log or linear you can check that as well. If in the mid position the resistance between the center connector and each of the outer two is identical, then the control is linear, if not it is log. It is most likely a log taper.
