HK avr70 hard reset

does anyone happen to know how to perform a hard reset on an hk avr70 and also how to manage it via a television without the remote control (for speaker settings and such)

Dont know what features are on your receiver but the manual should be available on line to double check (if you dont have the buttons below or it is different). On mine, I need to press "Surround Mode Group Selector" & "Tuner Mode Selector" for three seconds. The display reads RESET and you have a fresh start...
